Wanna download all 702 pages of the CIA’s recently declassified historical documents known as the “Family Jewels”? Then cURL is your friend.

curl -A "Mozilla/4.0" -e http://www.foia.cia.gov/browse_docs.asp? http://www.foia.cia.gov/docs/DOC_0001451843/0001451843_0[001-702].gif -O

Once that was done, I used a GraphicConverter to convert the GIFs toPDFs, and then Automator to combine the PDFs. I was sure when I started this little project that I would be able to use Image Events in Applescript or Preview scripting in Automator, but I had no luck finding a way to convert the GIFs to PDFs with either of those. If anyone knows how to convert them without a third-party app, I would love to hear from you.
