I thought I would share this drawing from about 2 years ago. It was drawn completely in Adobe Illustrator 10. It took 2-3 days to finish, but I was rather pleased with how it turned out. I haven’t attempted another similar drawing in Illustrator since then, but I am long overdue and intend to find the time to do so.

The work that I do in Illustrator for my job is distinctly different than this; it is mostly just black and white drawings of a more technical nature. So, it is refreshing to attempt a piece that has a more organic feel to it.
