modbook.jpgGizmodo has a short review of the Axion Modbook (the tablet that first debuted at Macworld 2007). The verdict?

Great for anyone who is looking for a way to do a lot of digital sketches anywhere without the need for an external tablet. For someone who does more word processing than drawing — not so great, due to its lack of built-in keypad.

Features in addition to the standard MacBook features:

  • AnyView™ 13.3″ Wide Screen
  • ForceGlass™ Screen & Camera Cover
  • WACOM Penabled® Digitizer 512 Levels of Pressure Sensitivity
  • Axiotron Digitizer Pen
  • WAAS enabled GPS Built-In

The Modbook is sold exclusively by Other World Computing.
