I watched Vitus this weekend. This is a great family film about a child prodigy and his parents pushing him to his limit. Vitus comes up with a plan to become a “normal” boy and succeeds while continuing to do what he loves.
I enjoyed this film immensely. Even my 8-year-old daughter enjoyed it despite it being subtitled. I couldn’t help but be reminded of August Rush, though the only real similarity is that of a child musical prodigy.
