The Dark City Director’s Cut DVD and Blu-ray is available for pre-order now and will be released on July 29, 2008. For those of you who haven’t seen Dark City, it is the story of a man who struggles with memories of his past, including a wife he cannot remember, in a nightmarish world with no sun and run by beings with telekinetic powers who seek the souls of humans.
The director’s cut is about 15 minutes longer than the theatrical release due to some added scenes and some different pacing of existing scenes. This should make a great movie even better, and I look forward picking up a copy for myself.
