Right now, Newegg has the Asus Eee PC 1000H available for only $549.99. That is a $100 discount over many other retailers.
Update: ZipZoomFly has dropped their price on the 1000H to match Newegg’s.

NewEgg didn’t initiate the $100 price cut, Asus did. I ordered a 1000H 3 days prior to the Asus announced price cut at $649. Yesterday (7/21) I chatted with NewEgg’s customer service who knew nothing about the $100 price drop.
However, after 10 minutes “on hold” I was told that I qualified for a $100 refund and NewEgg’s website now shows a $100 discount off the old $649 price. Strangely, Amazon.com is still offering the 1000H for $649.
Thanks for the information. I did notice that Amazon’s price was still higher than Newegg’s.
