A disturbing article in USA Today reveals that far too many drugs are being detected in our drinking water, and this is largely due to the fact that most water treatment plants do not have a means by which to remove the drug residue.

A vast array of pharmaceuticals — including antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones — have been found in the drinking water supplies of at least 41 million Americans, an Associated Press investigation shows. (#)
