Canon also revealed two new consumer level cameras today — the PowerShot SX10 IS and the PowerShot G10.

The Canon SX10 IS features a 10 megapixel sensor and a 20x optical zoom lens, along with face detection technology, a 2.5-inch LCD and optical image stabilization. The SX10 IS will begin shipping sometime in October for about $399.99.

The Canon G10 features a 14.2 megapixel sensor and a 5x optical zoom lens, along with face detection technology, a 3-inch LCD and optical image stabilization. The G10 will begin shipping sometime in October for about $499.99.
