Paul Newman died Friday, September 26, 2008 at age 83 of cancer.
Aside from being a great actor, Paul Newman was also a great humanitarian. Sales from his “Newman’s Own” line of products have resulted in over $200 million dollars in charitable donations.
A few of my favorite Paul Newman movies are Cool Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and The Sting.
He will be missed.
