27 December 2008 @ 1:03Two Hands (1999)
Writer/Director: Gregor Jordan
Cast: Heath Ledger, Bryan Brown, Rose Byrne
Early on in Heath Ledger’s acting career he starred in an Australian movie titled Two Hands.
Two Hands is a crime comedy about Jimmy (Ledger) who gets involved with a mobster named Pando. After losing ten thousand dollars of Pando’s money, Jimmy finds himself on the run and looking for a way come up with the money fast.
I like the fact that Two Hands has some actors showing off their skills before they became household names. Heath Ledger’s appearance in this film was my primary reason for watching this one. He made great strides in his acting career up to his unfortunate death.
I would recommend Two Hands first to fans of Heath Ledger, and second, to anyone who likes a crime comedy.
