Now, you don’t have to own a Kindle in order to read from the vast selection of Kindle books. Amazon released the free Kindle for iPhone application which allows iPhone and iPod touch owners to read Kindle books. You can wirelessly shop and transfer books to your iPhone. If you own a Kindle and have already purchase books, those books will be available as free downloads to your iPhone.

Another notable feature is “Whispersync”, which allows you to synchronize between your Kindle device and iPhone so that you can pickup reading where you left off on one device or the other.
