The last few months have been a bumpy ride for the HD DVD format, Toshiba, and its early adopters. First Warner Bros. committed to the competing Blu-ray format, followed by Best Buy, Target, Blockbuster, Netflix (#) and Wal-Mart (#).

Today, Toshiba has announced that they will begin rethinking their stance on the HD DVD format, and may hold a board meeting on the matter as early as tomorrow.
