2 July 2008 @ 20:042G iPhone users won’t have to pay 3G plan price

iPhone 3GGlenn Fleishman reports that AT&T has confirmed that original iPhone users and those who will be activating an original iPhone in the coming months will not have to pay the higher price for the iPhone 3G data plan. Users activating a 2G iPhone will still pay $20 for unlimited EDGE internet usage and 200 text messages. The new data plan for the iPhone 3G will run $30 for unlimited 3G internet usage and an extra $5 for 200 text messages.
