Dell introduced a new, ultra-small desktop computer — the OptiPlex 160. This new computer measures 9.02″ by 1.85″ by 8.86″ and weighs a mere 4.6lbs. The OptiPlex 160 runs on an Intel Atom single-core processor (with optional dual-core processor in early 2009). Memory is comprised of 1.0GB DDR2 Non-ECC SDRAM, 800MHz, (1DIMM) with support for up to 4GB. Storage is a 80GB 2.5″ SATA and 8MB DataBurst Cache with optional 160GB 7200rpm HDD or 64GB SSD. Connectivity comes via the integrated 10/100/1000 Ethernet (Broadcom LOM); Optional Dell Wireless 1397 802.11BG Half Mini-PCIe card.
