This may be a few months old, but I just saw it today. It’s about 30 minutes long, and pretty funny. It’s a “documentary” (viral video for the 2009 BMW 1-Series) by Jeff Schultz.
Oberpfaffelbachen is proud to host the first ever Rampenfest on 27th November. What is Rampenfest? Only the most amazing event in the history of Bavaria. To celebrate the launch of the new BMW 1-Series in America, we have constructed a gigantisch Ramp to launch a BMW 1-Series into America. Our ramp stands an impressive 454 meters – tall enough to launch a 300-horsepower 1-Series over the Atlantic and into America! This will be a monumental event for both Oberpfaffelbachen and America that you won’t want to miss. If you plan on joining the hundreds of thousands of tourists, journalists, foreign dignitaries for the festival, we recommend that you book hotel reservations quickly. [#]
You can buy some Rampenfest and Oberpfaffelbachen souvenirs from Evi Gruber’s Rampenfest Shop below - t-shirts, caps, mugs, steins, buttons, and posters.
Rod Hilton wrote a spoof of Indiana Jones and the Kindgom of the Crystal Skull. Very funny!
HARRISON FORD:
What are we doing in the Amazon?
KAREN ALLEN:
Cate wants to return the Crystal MacGuffin to the ancient City of Gold.
HARRISON FORD:
City of Gold? Isn’t that what Nicolas Cage was looking for in National Treasure 2? Are we seriously getting the plot for our shitty sequel to Indiana Jones by ripping off the plot of a shitty sequel to a shitty knock-off of Indiana Jones? I feel like that should unravel the space-time continuum or something.
I didn’t know what to expect going into this movie, and actually the first couple minutes felt cheap and did not impress me, but I continued watching, and I’m glad I did. This movie was hilarious. The cast of The Grand is dotted with stars who each add a bit of their own flair to the mix, and the result is a highly entertaining movie. The Grand is a mocumentary about “One-eyed” Jack Faro and his attempt to regain ownership of his “Rabbit’s Foot Casino” by entering a poker tournament.
Do you ever get tired of answering those support calls?
Make the person on the other end of the phone feel like you understand their problem and can fix it for them. With a roll of the dice, you can effortlessly give the caller the answer they are looking for (so long as they are asking the right questions).
As you get older, you realize that people don’t necessarily want to know exactly what the problem is. What they really want is assurance that someone is there, listening, and is ready to come to their aid. The chances that you can actually walk them through fixing their problem is minuscule - you’re going to have to take a visit anyway, so why bother putting in the effort now?
Before Apple introduced the iPod Hi-Fi, Bentley had their own portable music player with speaker dock. Notice the high-end industrial design set to form in space-age black plastic and chrome trim. Two 6-inch woofers flank the dock opening that snugly encases the Super Deluxe AM/FM Stereo™. On the top of the portable Super Deluxe is a convenient cogged wheel that enables the user to surf from one end of the AM band to the other and back again on the FM side all with just a flick of the thumb. The Bentley Home Entertainment System also came with nylon shoulder strap so that the user could walk around with it hanging from their shoulder and draw stares of envy from friends and strangers alike.
I wouldn’t doubt that Bentley enjoyed as much success from their innovative device as Apple enjoyed from their iPod Hi-Fi. ;)
