While Steve Jobs sits on his claim that Blu-ray is a “bag of hurt”, Psystar has released an “Open Computer” that features both a Blu-ray optical disc drive and the nVidia 9800GT graphics card.
Meanwhile, Apple and Psystar are currently involved in Alternative Dispute Resolution after Apple sued and Psystar countersued.

Following Apple’s copyright infringement lawsuit filed against Mac-clone maker Psystar, Psystar has said they intend to countersue Apple for monopolistic and anti-competitive practices.
It will be interesting to see how this all works out.

It turns out that Psystar, the vendor of the recent “Mac clones”, is not only breaking the EULA of the Mac OS, but also the Netkas’ license of PC_EFI V8.0 which is what they are using to enable the booting of the Mac OS on non-Apple hardware.
