I just noticed that there is an EyeTV update (v3.0.2) available. The big feature of this update is full support for H.264 broadcasts. Other features include Closed Captions Support in QuickTime Format Exports, Separate Deinterlacing Options for Standard TV and HDTV, Improved On Screen Menus, Unplayed Recordings Badge, and added hardware support and bug fixes.

The new version of HandBrake will now read from the MPEG transport streams that EyeTV captures in HD. WooHoo! It was a bit frustrating that the previous version wouldn’t accept these high quality files. HandBrake will also detelecine your videos if that is something you need.
