According to CNN, Ex-Google emplyee, Anna Patterson, has been working on a search alternative to Google called Cuil. Patterson is claiming that Cuil has indexed 120 billion web pages, which is far greater than the 8.2 billion pages Google claimed it had indexed three years ago. I just noticed today that Google has a new favicon for their Analytics site. I wasn’t able to see it until I logged in.
Update: It’s not just the Analytics site, but all Google sites, I think.

Mitch Bowling, a senior vice president at Comcast, said the company would make Docsis 3.0 available to 20 percent of homes in areas it serves in 2009 and will finish the introduction to the rest of the country by 2010. (via The New York Times)
